active listening
verb
Attentively trying to understand what someone says rather than passively hearing the words.
Example: Practice active listening skills and take careful notes of each point of view.

The purpose of a shared outcome.
Example: She started this business with the aim of making a profit.

Breaking down a global topic into issues and exploring causes and consequences of these issues.

Consists of a claim, the reasons for tat claim and evidence to support the claim.

A statement or an assertion that something is true.

A question that often has a yes/no or specific answer. often prompted by "what" questions.
Example: My friend asked me a closed question.

primary research

The method for collecting data that has not been collected before and is collected directly from individuals, groups of people or research observations.
Example: The primary source of learning for toddlers is their families.

questionnaire

A way of gaining different opinions/viewpoints to help develop a perspective, usually a local perspective about an issue, often referred to as a primary source of information as responses are given directly to the person who wrote the questionnaire.
Example: All the applicants have been asked to complete a detailed questionnaire.
